General contractors over burdened with the task of communicating to a number of clients on small, medium and large jobs.
Value Proposition
Provide general contractors with the option to outsource the main communication point of contact on a project to project basis.
Services offered
The Project Coordinator would be assigned as the customers main point of contact for a general contractors project providing the following type of coordination and management.
- Weekly site visits for updated progress reports
- Answering any project questions that come in from the client through phone call or email.
- Researching questions / status updates with assigned trades on project related matters.
- Managing and documenting any scope change requests requiring client approval.
- Maintaining a web based project file that logs all client communications. (Access to be provided to client by request)
- Maintaining project schedule based on delays, changes, and resource conflicts for client communication purposes.
Business Model
General contractors would purchase a fixed retainer / project (based on the scope of project). Effort estimates would be created as contractor projects are won and modified as required. Estimates of 2 – 3 hours per week / project.
